Kremlin: Ammonia pipeline blast to complicate grain deal rollover

MOSCOW, Jun 8 (PRIME) -- An explosion on the Tolyatti–Odessa ammonia pipeline has become a new obstacle to prolongation of the grain deal, spokesman for the president Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

"This topic was an integral part of the part of the deal that concerned us. This is why, let’s say it is a new issue making deal prolongation more difficult," Peskov said.

On Wednesday, Russia’s Defense Ministry said that an explosion happened at the pipeline near Kharkov on Monday.
